The city of Antalya is located on the Mediterranean coast and is the capital of Antalya Province. Located west of downtown, Konyaalti beach provides additional options for beach goers. With both white rock and imported sand, the Konyaalti Plajlari stretches for miles on the western side of the Antalya bay. Walking along the Konyaalti beach provides magnificent views of both the Mediterranean ocean as well as the Toros Mountains. Consider renting a bicycle to ride along the beach, or taking a long walk between the resorts located on the beach.
Then of course you can’t miss the International Antalya Sand Sculpture Festival if you travel to the area in June. This young even they now hold annually attracts sculptors from all around the world. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy the light show that brings out each exhibit.
